Staying at a baby-friendly all-inclusive resort is an excellent choice for new parents looking to recharge and reconnect after the life-changing event of having a baby. After such a big change in your life, you deserve a little pampering at one of these top baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts in a tropical paradise.

Top 10 Baby-Friendly All-Inclusive Resorts
Why is a baby-friendly resort such a good idea when looking to book a family beach vacation? Traveling with a baby is very rewarding, but it is a lot different than traveling before kids.
A relaxing beach vacation at one of these top baby-friendly resorts makes your trip so easy, it really takes a load off your mind. A family vacation to an all-inclusive resort can also be an easy introduction to traveling with a baby.
That said, here are my top recommended baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts:
1. Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico
We have a brand new #1 baby-friendly all-inclusive resort for 2025! The Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico made our list for the first time last year, but its incredible baby-friendly amenities and guest satisfaction propelled it to the top of our list this year!
This was supposed to be a list of the best baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, but we hope you’ll forgive us for sneaking in the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit resort. An oceanfront resort on beautiful Banderas Bay, in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is such an exceptional baby-friendly resort, we felt compelled to include it.
Enjoy one of the best spas in the world…
What You Will Love about this Baby-Friendly Resort in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico:
The Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is the only all-inclusive resort on Mexico’s Pacific coast to be awarded Five Diamonds from AAA. According to AAA, a Five Diamond award ensures you will enjoy, “world-class luxury, amenities and indulgence for a once-in-a-lifetime experience”.
Every new parent deserves some time for rest and relaxation during their family vacation. You won’t find many better places for relaxation than the Spa at Grand Velas, which was named among the best spas in the world by Condé Nast.
If you’d like to sneak off to the spa or one of the restaurants as a couple, this baby-friendly resort offers certified, specialized nannies to care for your baby. (*extra charge)
Parents who desire some alone time in their hotel room will love the Family Suites at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. These two-bedroom suites offer ocean view terraces with a large outdoor jacuzzi.
The Baby Concierge program offered by the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is the primary reason this resort ranks so high on our list of the best baby-friendly resorts.
This complimentary program offers parents an incredible amount of baby amenities, such as cribs, baby bath tubs (and bath hammocks), strollers, baby carriers, bottle warmers, a bottle sterilizing service, rockers and even an illuminated mobile for cribs.
What Your Baby Will Love:
As part of the exceptional Baby Concierge program, your infant will receive their very own rattle, teether and pacifier, which they can keep and take home.
It’s not just the grown-ups who enjoy getting pampered a little while on holidays. Your baby can enjoy their very first haircut in a luxurious setting, creating lasting family memories. (*extra charge)
2. Finest Playa Mujeres in Cancun, Mexico
All your baby essentials are taken care of…
The competition was fierce, but in the end, the Finest Playa Mujeres resort (our #1 baby-friendly all-inclusive resort the past two years) was bumped off the top of the list this year. But, it was so close, it could have easily remained our top all-inclusive resort for babies again for 2025.
You’ll be happy to know that the Finest Playa Mujeres resort is far away from the madness of the Cancun Zona Hotelera. Rather, it’s located just north of Cancun on a beautiful peninsula close to the ferry to Isla Mujeres.
Even though this one of the best baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts in Mexico, this is no kiddie resort. The Finest Playa Mujeres resort is a classy, modern hotel with an abundance of amenities for adults, but it also does an outstanding job welcoming guests who are traveling with a baby.
What You Will Love about this Baby-Friendly Resort in Mexico:
In our experience, one of the most challenging things about traveling with a baby is sharing a standard hotel room with your infant. Once your baby goes to sleep, you’ll need to huddle silently in the darkness hoping not to wake the baby up.
This is not a problem at the Finest Playa Mujeres resort, as you can choose from a selection of Family Suites, with a king bed for the grownups and a separate bedroom for the baby. Don’t worry – a crib and a baby monitor are included with your stay at this baby-friendly resort. Some of the Family Suites even come with a private pool!
You’ll never need a reservation at any of the twelve restaurants with an enticing variety of international fare on offer. If your little bundle of joy keeps you up all night, grab a frothy cappuccino and a cupcake from the Sweet Corner, or a get a more natural high with a tasty drink from the Tropical Juice Bar.

All of these baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts are in the tropics, where the sun is very powerful. Learn to protect your little one’s skin in our post on sun safety for babies. Checking out my recommended beach tents for babies is also a good idea.
Relax with a spa treatment at the ONE Spa. If you are traveling with older kids too, you can enjoy a wide variety of family experiences at the spa, a memory which is sure to last.
Best of all, you can relax knowing that all your baby essentials are taken care of at the Finest Playa Mujeres resort. In addition to complimentary cribs and baby monitors, this baby-friendly resort also provides a baby bottle sterilizer, an electric kettle, a baby bottle warmer, a high chair and even a bathtub for your baby.
What Your Baby Will Love:
Babies are wonderful little travel companions – they’ll just be happy to be with you at this excellent baby-friendly resort in Mexico.
That said, you can make their first all-inclusive visit extra fun by taking them to the Mini Club, which welcomes children from 0-6 years old (babies under 2 need an adult to accompany them). The Mini Club has a special area for babies, a multipurpose room with games and a pool especially for babies (which even has waterslides!)
At Finest Playa Mujeres, it’s not just the adults who will enjoy fine dining. Your baby will love the natural, homemade purees made especially for your baby – 100% fresh and gluten-free.
3. Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Mexico
This is the second Grand Velas resort in our top three baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts! This should come as no surprise as Grand Velas says, “Our littlest guests are VIPs too!”.
As with its Pacific coast counterpart, the Grand Velas Riviera Maya is a luxurious all-inclusive resort that caters exceptionally well to families with a baby. Its thoughtful design, dedicated services, and comprehensive amenities ensure a stress-free and enjoyable experience for parents and their little ones.
What You Will Love about this Baby-Friendly Resort near Playa del Carmen:
Parents staying at Grand Velas Riviera Maya will appreciate its unparalleled service and attention to detail. The resort’s spacious suites, many with private plunge pools, offer a perfect retreat for relaxation while accommodating families comfortably.
One feature I really like is the availability of two-bedroom suites, which gives parents a chance to have some quiet time after your baby has gone to bed.
Speaking of quiet time, babysitting services are available, if you’d like some time to enjoy the resort’s many amenities, such as its world-class spa, gourmet dining, or serene beach.
The Grand Velas Riviera Maya resort has an excellent location, just outside the resort town of Playa del Carmen (my favorite town on the Riviera Maya). It’s close enough that you can easily explore the town, but far enough that you’ll feel a world away.
You may be interested to know Grand Velas Riviera Maya is quite close to a very unique, baby-friendly beach. Playa Punta Esmerelda is unique as it has a cenote in the middle of the sand.
The clear, fresh water bubbling up into the cenote is tranquil and creates a small pond for families to play in the water without fear of waves. We visited this beach several times on our last trip to Playa del Carmen and I think you’ll love playing with your baby here.

What Your Baby Will Love
As with my #1 choice for the most baby-friendly all-inclusive resort, the Grand Velas Riviera Maya also offers the amazing Baby Concierge service. This service provides essential items like cribs, strollers, baby bathtubs, bottle warmers, and sterilizers, ensuring you’ll have everything you need upon arrival and allowing you to travel light.

What Your Baby Will Love:
The Kids Camp program (for babies aged 0-2), the kiddie pool at the Pirates Island water park and encounters with their favorite Sesame Street characters!
5. Generations Riviera Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico
Wow – four of the top five baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts are all from Mexico! You may start thinking we’re biased, just because we love traveling to Mexico with a baby, but these baby-friendly resorts earned their spots the hard way – with excellent customer satisfaction and top-notch amenities for new parents.

What You Will Love about this Baby-Friendly Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico:
This infant-friendly resort, located just outside Puerto Morelos, is the quintessential family resort where every suite is oceanfront. Most of the hotel suites at this baby resort are either pool-front or have their own infinity pool balcony.
Guests of the Generations Riviera Maya baby-friendly resort will enjoy an elegant, spacious one-bedroom suite with a luxurious king or two queen beds. You may combine multiple one-bedroom suites to create 2-or-3 bedroom options.
Every new parent deserves some pampering. The Náay Spa at the Generations Riviera Maya offers an impressive menu of traditional and alternative Spa therapies. You may especially enjoy the Water Journey Ritual – a hydrotherapy routine featuring relaxing stops in the sauna, steam room, whirlpool, polar pool and the sensations pool.

With tailored amenities for both parents and little ones, it promises a stress-free and memorable vacation in a stunning Riviera Maya setting.
What You Will Love
One thing I especially like about the Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya is the selection of family-friendly rooms to choose from. As you know, I’m a big fan of having separate bedrooms, enabling everyone to get a good night’s sleep. The Sensira Resort offers a 2-bedroom suite, where one of the bedrooms is decorated for especially for the kids.

Escape to a world of five villages, where you will enjoy the architecture and ambiance of Italy, France, the Caribbean and Key West.

“We picked this baby-friendly resort for our very first beach holiday with a baby”
After our extensive research, we chose the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa for our first all-inclusive beach vacation with our daughter.
Why We (the adults) Loved About This Mayan Riviera All-Inclusive Resort:
This Mexican all-inclusive resort is one of four interconnected Grand Palladium resorts, giving us access to nine à la carte restaurants, five buffet restaurants and seven pools.
We loved the natural jungle feel of the extensive pathways throughout the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort, which enabled us to take our daughter for long nature walks every day.

A Recent TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Winner in the Family Hotel in the Caribbean category!
This Nickelodeon cartoon-themed all-inclusive resort is an excellent choice if your baby already has an older sibling. This Caribbean resort has many adult and baby-friendly offerings, but the real charm of this place is the fun for slightly older kids.
What You Will Love about this Baby-Friendly Resort in the Dominican Republic:
The luxurious Vassa Spa provides an escape from the kid-friendly zaniness elsewhere on the all-inclusive resort. The 14,000-sq.-ft. spa features oceanfront massages, bubble beds, herbal steam room, chromotherapy showers, dry sauna, and whirlpool.

Bonus: Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
I hope you don’t mind, but I added a new resort to our list of baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts! We recently travelled with our (now older) kids to a family-friendly all-inclusive resort in Cabo San Lucas.
We chose the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas as it was a kid-friendly 5-star beachfront all-inclusive resort, but during our stay, we couldn’t help but notice the number of parents with babies at the resort!

Choosing a Baby-Friendly All-Inclusive Resort
We love staying at all-inclusive resorts! Between my husband and I, we have stayed at over 10 different all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, Pacific and Central America. While we have traveled extensively with our babies, we didn’t get a chance to stay at each of the all-inclusive baby-friendly resorts listed. Babies just grow too fast!
To create this list of the best infant-friendly all-inclusive resorts for you, I have drawn upon our knowledge of what makes an excellent beach resort from our previous all-inclusive vacations to the Caribbean and Mexico, both with and without babies.
Then, building on our real-life resort experiences, I then spent countless hours researching the best baby-friendly resorts for family beach vacation.
Finally, I applied the first-hand knowledge we’ve gained from traveling the world with our kids over the past 10 years to come up with this list of the best baby-friendly all-inclusive resorts for you. I am confident you’ll find the best resort for your family beach vacation!
We hope this helps you find the ideal baby-friendly all-inclusive resort for your family vacation. If you find another baby-friendly resort which you loved, please share it with us!
